The international logistics trade show in Munich, which took place from June 2 to 5, 2025, was a major gathering for companies in the transportation, warehousing, and logistics planning sectors. For us at Agro-Trade, the trade show provided a valuable platform to establish new contacts and meet logistics partners for the reliable delivery of animal feed and agricultural raw materials from Europe to Switzerland. These products now include, among others, sugar beet pulp pellets, sugar beet molasses, DDGS (dried distillers grains with solubles), rapeseed cake, and sunflower meal.
The exchange with companies specializing in the reliable and efficient delivery of feed ingredients was particularly valuable. We were able to meet several suppliers capable of offering transportation services for both bulk and palletized shipments—not only in Switzerland but throughout Europe. The solutions presented are ideally suited to the needs of our customers in the agricultural sector, particularly when it comes to precise, on-time deliveries during intensive feeding periods.

Another focus of the trade show was the digital optimization of supply chains. Several vendors showcased systems for real-time shipment tracking, automated scheduling, and intelligent route planning. These technologies promise improved predictability and transparency, which we hope to integrate into our processes in the future.
Sustainability also played an increasingly important role. Various approaches were presented on how to reduce transportation emissions through alternative powertrains, consolidated deliveries, and more efficient routes. The concepts presented are of particular interest to us, as we want to act in a way that makes sense not only economically but also environmentally.
The logistics trade show in Munich exceeded our expectations. The discussions and insights we gained have opened up new perspectives for us, which we will pursue in the coming months and integrate into our processes. We are pleased with the contacts we made and look forward with great interest to the next steps we will take together with our new logistics partners.
